Ashapura maa temple located In the Ghumali village near Porbandar city. Its 14 century, Jam Unndji came from the Sindh area with an army to the conquered Ghumali village, but he was could not conquer, so after that his son namely Bamaniyaji came and surrounded Ghumali with a huge army soldier. So that time, the pilgrims visit such holy and remote place from all over the Gujarat and India. Ashapura means the granter of wishes. This historical village has lot of religious importance as there is an ancient temple of Ashapuri Maa here at Ghumali, which is considered the kuldevi maa of the Bardai Brahmin caste. The population of such Brahmins is quiet high in Gujarat State. Till today this Mandir is very popular among pilgrims, who climb up the numerous steps for paying homage to Godless Ashapura maa
